Madison Durio is an exceptional young woman who has dedicated her life to creating positive change in the world. As an Entrepreneur, Humanitarian, and Mental Health Advocate, she has shown a remarkable ability to lead and inspire others toward a brighter future.
Madison’s passion for creating safe and inclusive environments is driven by her belief that everyone deserves to feel valued and respected. She has a particular soft spot for the “Under Dog” and is a powerful voice for those who are often silenced or forgotten. Madison firmly believes that a person’s individuality should never come at the cost of others, and she works tirelessly to promote understanding and empathy among all people.
After more than one (1) year of virtual learning in direct response to the pandemic, Madison found herself in a unique cross between burnout, fatigue, missing the form and idea of community and a sibilance of social isolation. The onset of these challenges began to cause anxiety and complete resistance to the new normal. With the assistance of her mother, Madison learned coping techniques and strategies that allowed her to navigate through the challenges and stressors of daily life.
Recognizing that her feelings and path were not unique to others, Madison founded Myndz, Inc., a nonprofit corporation registered in the State of Texas. The organization’s primary mission is to promote wholeness through mental, physical, and spiritual well-being, with a focus on self-awareness, self-care, and self-love.
Madison Durio is a remarkable young woman who knows her calling is to be the voice for those who cannot speak.
Myndz sponsors two signature events. Each May, Myndz, Inc. sponsors a Sunday Funday in the park in recognition of May as Mental Health Awareness Month. Each September, Myndz, Inc. sponsors The Fight of Your Life, an event to raise awareness and increase the prevention of suicide. September is recognized as Suicide Awareness and Prevention Month.
